When planning a vacation to The Wildwoods, one must first ask a few questions. Do I want to chill or thrill? Should I be lazy or crazy? Will it be mild or wild? The beauty of a Wildwoods vacation is that any answer is the right answer, because here you have the best of both worlds.  The experts have agreed as Expedia labeled it among the best places to travel in 2018 and AARP Travel Center announced that the Wildwoods are among the top destinations for creating vacation memories.

Visitors come to the Wildwoods not only to chill during the summer, but also come during the chill of the holiday season.  People return in winter for events like the Family Holiday Celebration to enjoy holiday-themed crafters and movies, photos with Santa, choir performances, children’s craft making table, face painting, a magician, dance performances and much more!

Of course the iconic Wildwood Boardwalk is full of activity with spectacular amusement piers, world-class roller coasters, waterparks, shops and eateries during the summer. But the Wildwoods offer great places to hike, take nature walks and enjoy the shoreline even in the fall and winter months, like the seawall path in North Wildwood near the Hereford Lighthouse.

The Wildwoods are known for their terrific events like the ones that take place at the Wildwoods Convention Center who host of many of the best concerts, exhibits and sporting events all year long. Now you can enjoy events year-round at great new places like the Downtown Byrne Plaza who host holiday events like Christmas on the Plaza December 6-7. This festive event features a holiday craft bazaar, ice skating, fire pits, food vendors, children’s entertainment, music and more!  Friday night Dec. 6th includes the Christmas Parade, when Santa will light the Christmas Tree.
