Established in 1876, the historic Chalfonte Hotel stands as the oldest original hotel in Cape May, renowned for its tradition of warm Southern hospitality.
To offer a relaxing escape from the daily grind, most guest rooms are free from clocks, televisions, and telephones, while wireless internet service is available throughout the hotel. In 2021, individualized heating and cooling units were installed in every guest room and throughout the hotel, ensuring guests enjoy the comfort of climate control.
While the Chalfonte Hotel does not have an elevator, ground-level guest rooms are available. We are dedicated to catering to guests with special needs, ensuring a comfortable and accessible stay for all.
